Supporting Language and Early Literacy Training

Logos of participating partners
The Wisconsin Early Childhood Collaborating Partners is sponsoring a free training about supporting language and early literacy in the home and community on August 14 from 10-3 in Wisconsin Rapids.  Early childhood professionals from all over the state will be there to learn about a "series of language and early literacy professional development materials, designed for professionals in all early learning and care settings
serving children, birth to 5."  The training and lunch are free because of funding from a Wisconsin Race to The Top grant.

The organizers are encouraging community teams to attend together.  Take a look around your community and see if you can join (or even form) a team, so libraries can be in on this conversation!  Register here.
